About Schema Markup Generator
Structured data describes what a page is about in a form machines can read, and JSON-LD lets you add it without touching the visible HTML. Choose one of four types with the buttons at the top: Organization, WebSite, Article or FAQPage. Each type shows only its own fields, and the tool prints a script tag with the schema.org context and the values you gave. Blank fields are dropped, and URL fields are checked before they reach the markup.
Features
- Four types: Organization, WebSite, Article and FAQPage
- Each type shows only the fields it uses
- Output is a ready-to-paste application/ld+json script tag
- Invalid URLs are flagged and left out of the markup
- Escapes closing script sequences so a value cannot end the tag early
Limitations
- Only those four types exist here. Product, LocalBusiness, BreadcrumbList and other types are not supported.
- The Article type has headline, author, date published, URL and image only; use the Article schema generator for description, publisher and date modified.
- The tool builds markup but does not validate it against any search engine's requirements, and no markup can promise a rich result.
- Downloading schema.html needs a free account; copying the script tag does not.
How it works
- Choose a schema type with the buttons at the top: Organization, WebSite, Article or FAQPage.
- Fill in the required fields, marked with an asterisk, and any optional ones you want.
- For FAQPage, add each question and answer pair with + Add question; a pair missing one half is left out.
- Check the generated JSON-LD in the output box.
- Copy the script tag into the page, or download it as schema.html.
Example input
Organization name: "Auro Tools"
URL: https://aurotools.com
Logo: https://aurotools.com/logo.pngFrequently asked questions
- Paste it into the head or body of the page it describes. The output is a complete script element, so nothing else needs wrapping. Organization and WebSite markup usually belongs on the home page, while Article and FAQPage describe one specific page.
- Empty fields are dropped, and a URL, logo or image that is not a public http or https address is omitted and flagged under the field. WebSite needs both a name and a valid URL, and Organization needs a name, before anything is produced.
- Yes. Press + Add question for each pair; once there are two or more, each pair gets a cross button to remove it. Only pairs with both a question and an answer are written, and half-filled ones are flagged as incomplete.
- No. Markup describes your content to search engines, but whether any enhanced result appears is their decision under their own guidelines. Adding it is not a promise of a different listing.
- No. The JSON-LD is assembled in your browser while you type. Downloading the file is the one action that asks guests to sign in or create a free account first.
