About FAQ Schema Generator

An FAQ section on a page can be described to search engines as FAQPage structured data, with every question and its accepted answer listed in one JSON-LD block. Type your questions and answers into the form, add as many pairs as the page needs, and the script tag is built as you go. A pair with only one half filled in is flagged and left out, so the markup never holds an empty question or answer. Whether a search engine shows FAQ results is up to it.

Features

  • Question and answer pairs written as FAQPage mainEntity entries
  • Starts with two blank pairs; add or remove as many as you need
  • Half-filled pairs are flagged and left out of the markup
  • Escapes closing script sequences so an answer cannot end the tag early

Limitations

  • Answers are written exactly as typed. The tool does not convert formatting, so any HTML you want in an answer has to be typed by hand.
  • The markup should match questions and answers that are visible on the page, and the tool cannot check that for you.
  • FAQ rich results are not promised: the form reminds you that Google decides eligibility under its own guidelines.
  • Downloading faq-schema.html needs a free account; copying the script tag does not.

How it works

  1. Type the first question and its answer into the first pair; two empty pairs are ready when the page loads.
  2. Press + Add question for each further pair, or use the cross to remove one.
  3. Look for the Incomplete notice under any pair that has only a question or only an answer.
  4. Check the FAQPage JSON-LD in the output box, which appears once one full pair exists.
  5. Copy the script tag into the page, or download it as faq-schema.html.

Example input

{
  "@type": "Question",
  "name": "What is FAQ schema?",
  "acceptedAnswer": { "@type": "Answer", "text": "..." }
}
