About SEO Slug Generator
A readable URL slug is short, lowercase and separated by hyphens. Type or paste a title and the slug appears beneath it as you go, with accents flattened to plain letters, ampersands spelled out as and, and punctuation turned into separators. Tick Remove stop words to drop small words such as the and of, and use the slider to set a maximum length; a long slug is cut back to a whole word. Titles in other scripts keep their own letters.

Limitations
- Transliteration covers Latin letters only. Cyrillic, Chinese and other scripts are kept as they are, not converted to Latin letters, and a copied link is percent-encoded.
- The stop-word list is fixed and English only; you cannot edit it.
- Slugs are always lowercase and joined with hyphens. There is no option for underscores or mixed case.
- Text with no letters or numbers produces a message instead of a slug.
How it works
- Type or paste a title or phrase into the field; an example title is there to show the result.
- Tick Remove stop words if you want small words such as the, of and to dropped.
- Drag the Max length slider to set the longest slug you will accept.
- Check the length shown under the slug, and the note about percent-encoding if the slug contains non-Latin letters.
- Press Copy next to the slug and paste it into your CMS or URL field.

- Yes. Letters and digits from other scripts are kept, so a Russian title stays in Cyrillic. The page notes that browsers and Google handle such addresses, and it shows the percent-encoded form your link will take when copied.
- No. The slug is built in your browser and nothing is sent to a server. There is no download step, so no account is needed either.
