About Image Resizer

Forms, marketplaces and content systems often ask for an exact width, while a camera file is far bigger. Add a file in JPG, PNG or WebP format, then set the new size in pixels or as a share of the original. With the lock on, typing one side works out the other from the original proportions, and five preset widths cover the usual cases. Resampling uses the Lanczos method, and the result can be saved as JPG, PNG or WebP.

Features

  • Exact width and height in pixels, or a scale percentage
  • Aspect ratio lock that recalculates the other side as you type
  • Preset widths of 1920, 1280, 1080, 800 and 500 px
  • Output as JPG, PNG or WebP
  • Shows the original and target pixel size before you run a percentage resize

Limitations

  • The resized image can be at most 16384 px on a side and 100 megapixels in total, and uploads can be up to 60 MB.
  • There is no quality control on this page: JPG and WebP output is saved at a fixed setting of 92, so run the result through the compressor if you need it smaller.
  • Enlarging works but adds no new detail, and unlocking the ratio and changing both sides will stretch the picture; nothing is cropped or padded.
  • Downloading the resized file needs a free account; without one you see a reduced-size preview.

How it works

  1. Drop a JPG, PNG or WebP file onto the upload area, or browse for it.
  2. Choose By pixels or By percentage.
  3. In pixel mode, type a width or height, or click a preset width. The other side follows while the link button is locked; click it to unlock and set both freely.
  4. Still in pixel mode, pick JPG, PNG or WebP as the output format. It starts on your upload's format.
  5. In percentage mode, enter the scale and read the original and new size in pixels beside it.
  6. Select Resize Image, compare the result with the original, then press Download.
