About Text to PDF

Sometimes you need a tidy PDF from words you just wrote or pasted, without opening a word processor. Type into the editor, format headings, lists, code blocks and links from the toolbar, then choose A4 or Letter and a body font size. The tool lays the formatted text onto pages and breaks it across as many as it needs. Because the PDF uses its built-in fonts, only Latin characters are supported.

Features

  • Toolbar for headings, bullet and numbered lists, code blocks and links
  • Bold, italic, underline, strikethrough and inline code
  • Body font size slider from 8pt to 24pt
  • A4 or Letter pages with automatic page breaks
  • The PDF is generated in your browser, so typed text is not sent to a server

Limitations

  • Only Latin characters are supported. Text with CJK, Arabic, Cyrillic or emoji characters is rejected with a list of the characters to remove.
  • The font size slider sets body text; headings and code keep their own sizes.
  • Downloading the PDF needs a free account.

How it works

  1. Set the body font size with the slider and choose A4 or Letter as the page size.
  2. Type or paste your text into the editor and format it with the toolbar.
  3. Select Generate PDF.
  4. Select Download PDF to save the file as document.pdf.
