About Keyword Density Checker

Before publishing, it helps to see which words a draft leans on. Paste the content and the tool lists the most repeated single words, two-word phrases and three-word phrases with their counts and percentages. Add a target keyword or phrase and it also reports how many times that exact sequence appears and what share of the total word count it makes up. Accents on Latin letters are ignored, so café and cafe match, and no stop-word filtering is applied.

Features

  • Keyword stats: occurrences, density percentage and total words
  • Tables of repeated single words, two-word phrases and three-word phrases
  • Multi-word keywords are matched as an exact sequence of words
  • Case and Latin accents are ignored, so Café matches cafe
  • Counts words in Cyrillic, Arabic and Chinese, Japanese or Thai text as well as Latin scripts

Limitations

  • No stop words are removed, so common words such as the and and can top the single-word table.
  • Only terms that appear at least twice are listed, and each table shows at most eight rows.
  • Density is the number of matches divided by all words in the text, rounded to two decimals, so it is sensitive to how much text you paste.
  • The page itself notes there is no ideal density percentage, so use the figures to spot repetition rather than to hit a target.

How it works

  1. Paste your content into the Content text box.
  2. Optionally enter a target keyword or phrase in the box on the right.
  3. Wait a moment after you stop typing; the results refresh once you pause.
  4. Read the Keyword stats cards for occurrences, density and total words.
  5. Scan the tables of top words, two-word phrases and three-word phrases to spot repetition.
  6. Press Reset to clear the text and the keyword.
