About Converters
Convert structured data between JSON and the formats it is most often exchanged in: CSV, XML, YAML and Base64. Paste your data, convert it and copy the result. All eight converters run in your browser, so your data is not uploaded, and none of them need an account.
All 8 tools here run entirely in your browser.
Convert JSON to CSV, XML, YAML or Base64
Turn a JSON array into CSV rows for a spreadsheet, JSON into XML for systems that expect it, JSON into YAML for configuration files, or encode a JSON value as Base64. In JSON to CSV, the first object's keys become the column headers.
Convert CSV, XML, YAML or Base64 to JSON
Bring data back into JSON for APIs and code. CSV uses its first row as the keys, XML attributes are kept and prefixed with @_, YAML comments are dropped because JSON cannot hold them, and a Base64 string is decoded and parsed as JSON.
Good to know
JSON to YAML covers the common subset of YAML (objects, arrays, strings, numbers, booleans and null) rather than the full specification. If XML is malformed you see an error instead of partial output.
Frequently asked questions
Which conversions are available?
JSON to CSV, XML, YAML and Base64, and CSV, XML, YAML and Base64 back to JSON. That is eight converters in total.
Is my data uploaded when I convert it?
No. All eight converters run in your browser, so your input is not sent to a server.
Do I need an account to use the converters?
No. The converters are free to use without signing in.
What happens when JSON objects have different keys?
Only the first object's keys become the CSV headers, so keep keys consistent for a clean export. Extra keys in later objects are ignored and missing ones produce empty cells.
