About Age Calculator
Pick a date of birth and get your age as of today in whole years, months and days, plus the number of days since birth and the date of the next birthday. Months are counted from the birth date and clamp to the end of shorter months, so a 31 January birthday is not pushed into March by February. A 29 February birthday is observed on 28 February in years without a leap day. Dates are read as calendar days in your own time zone.

Limitations
- Age is always measured to today on your device's clock. There is no field for a different reference date.
- A date of birth in the future is rejected, and the date picker does not offer dates after today.
- Month-end birthdays follow one convention, clamping to the last day of a shorter month, so a form that counts differently can show a different day count.

- In years without a leap day the birthday is observed on 28 February, both for the age and for the next-birthday date. Someone born on 29 February 2000 sees 26 years, 7 months and 14 days on 13 October 2026, with the next birthday on February 28, 2027.
- Whole months are counted from the birth date, and when a month is too short the date clamps to its last day. Born 31 January 1990, the result on 13 October 2026 is 36 years, 8 months and 13 days, because the last whole month ended on 30 September.
- Not on this page. The reference point is always today's date from your device, and there is no second date field, so the answer changes each day you open it.
- Only the calendar date matters. Dates are read as local calendar days and compared as whole days, so 11:59 in the evening gives the same result as noon. What can differ is which day it is on your device, which follows your own time zone.
- No. The age is worked out by a script on the page and the date you pick is not sent to a server or kept after you leave. Share copies only the tool's address, so a link you pass on opens an empty calculator.
