About Rotate PDF
A scanner that fed pages in sideways, or a landscape export that opens upside down, leaves a whole document reading the wrong way. Choose 90° right, 90° left or 180° and every page in the file is turned by that amount, on top of whatever rotation it already had. Page content is not redrawn; only the rotation setting changes. To turn individual pages, the organize tool is the better fit.
Features
- Three turns: 90° right, 90° left and 180°
- Adds to each page's existing rotation instead of replacing it
- Changes only the rotation setting, so content is not redrawn
- Shows the page count before you rotate
Limitations
- Every page is turned by the same amount; to rotate only some pages, use the organize tool.
- No preview is shown, so open the downloaded file to check the result.
- Files up to 50 MB are accepted, a password-protected PDF has to be unlocked first, and saving rotated.pdf needs a free account.
How it works
- Add the PDF; its page count and size appear under the file name.
- Choose 90° right, 180° or 90° left; your choice is highlighted.
- Select Rotate All Pages.
- Download rotated.pdf when it is ready.

90° rightFrequently asked questions
- This tool turns every page by the same amount. For a single page, open the organize tool, press the rotate button under that page's thumbnail and save. Each press adds a quarter turn clockwise.
- Clockwise, the way you would turn a printed sheet to the right. 90° left turns it anticlockwise and 180° flips it upside down. Rotations add up: choosing 90° right on a page already turned 90° right leaves it at 180°.
- No. Only each page's rotation setting is updated, so text stays selectable and images are not re-encoded. The tool never opens a canvas or redraws a page while turning it.
- No. A PDF library running in the page updates the rotation of each page in memory. The only step that involves an account is saving the rotated file.
