About Remove Pages

Blank scan sheets, a cover page you would rather not send, a page with a signature that should not be in the copy: deleting a few pages is a common cleanup before a PDF goes out. Type the page numbers to drop, and the line under the box tells you which pages and how many of the total will be removed before you commit. Everything else is kept, in order, in a new file.

Features

  • Live preview of which pages will be removed
  • Single pages and ranges in one entry
  • Refuses to remove every page, so the result is never empty
  • Remaining pages keep their order

Limitations

  • Pages are identified by number only, with no thumbnails. Use the organize tool if you need to see them first.
  • At least one page has to remain in the document.
  • Files over 50 MB are refused, and a password-protected PDF has to be unlocked first.
  • Saving pages-removed.pdf needs a free account.

How it works

  1. Add the PDF; the page count shows next to the file name.
  2. Type the pages to delete into the Pages to remove box, for example 2, 4-6.
  3. Check the line under the box, which lists the pages that will be removed and how many of the total that is.
  4. Select Remove Pages, then download pages-removed.pdf.

Example input

2, 4-6
